The Integration of Sex/Gender in Biomedical Research with Dr. Jennifer William | Ep. 22

We had the privilege of interviewing Dr. Jennifer William, who is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto and an adjunct lecturer for the course Sex, Gender and Health in the Health Sciences Program at McMaster University. Dr. William shared her perspectives on finding one’s passion and navigating research related to the social and health sciences. We also had the opportunity to learn about how we can more inclusively approach the intersection of sex and gender with health in the clinical setting. Finally, Dr. William also shared her insights on the role and importance of interdisciplinarity in different types of research.
