This week, we sit down with Dr. Koenig, an Instructor in the BHSc department of McMaster University and a Research Associate in Immunology at McMaster University, as well as at the Jordana-Waserman lab. Dr. Koenig gives us insight into his educational and career journey as well as his current research in Immunology. We also gain some insight on the skills he has gained throughout his journey and his advice on how students can make their own opportunities to help them not just pursue medicine but to explore the interdisciplinary career pathways that are out there.
